Make sure your school can continue operating during ICT disruptions by planning for outages, data loss, or major system failures.

Step-by-Step Implementation 1. Identify Critical Systems MIS (for registers, safeguarding) Email and staff communication platforms Internet access and Wi-Fi Shared drives, cloud storage, backup systems 2. Plan What to Do If They Go Down What are the backup procedures (e.g. paper registers, USB copies)? How long can you operate without the system? Who needs to know, and how will you tell them? 3. Write a Continuity Plan List systems, impact, fallback plans and contact info Include key staff roles and decision-makers Keep it short, accessible and shared with SLT/admin 4.
